Game Rules

Pooky is a unique football results prediction game that allows the users of the Pooky Platform to predict the score of football matches (the “Prediction Game” or “Pooky”) created and maintained by Pooky Games Ltd (the “Company” or “we”).

Pooky Games Ltd is a company incorporated and registered in Malta with the company registration number C 103185 and having its registered office at Level G, (Office 1/08421), Quantum House 75, Abate Rigord Street, TA’XBIEX XBX 1120.

Pooky Platform  is an online gaming platform built on the Polygon blockchain that provides services of issuance and exchange of collectible digital assets - Pookyballs (“Collectibles” or “Pookyballs”).

These Game Rules (the “Rules”) apply to all the users aiming to participate in the Prediction Game and do not exempt such users from complying with the General Terms and Conditions of the Pooky Platform available at [please insert the link] as well as the Company’s Privacy Policy available at https://pooky.gg/privacy

3. Players requirements

3.1 Account creation

In order to participate in the Prediction Game, the player must be 18 or over or comply with a higher minimum legal age stipulated in the jurisdiction of the user’s residence under the laws applicable to such user. If you are younger than 18 years of age, you shall not create an account.

It is forbidden to create multiple accounts, and especially to use botting services.

To start placing predictions, users has to pass through the onboarding process, including notably:

• the creation of their account with an email address, or a social provider login
• the connection of their wallet. We can facilitate this process; however, we will never hold the keys to the user’s wallet, and we will not be able to assist in any way if a user loses access to his or her wallet.

3.2 Validity of Predictions

For a prediction to be valid, a Pookyball being used for such prediction has to be in the user’s wallet at:

• the time when the prediction is placed
• the time when the predictions is resolved

3.3 Fraud

We reserve the right to close the account of a user, who displays fraudulent behaviour, or who does not comply with these Rules.

Please note that, since we are entirely non-custodial, any ERC-20 or ERC-721 tokens being held in a wallet of a banned user, still belong to such user and constitute such user’s property.

We do not have access to the users’ wallets.

4. How does the Prediction Game work?

Users may choose between two play modes in Pooky. Both modes have the same rules, but different rewards.

1. Free-to-Play mode: Users make predictions using two Free Rooky Balls (received upon signing up). Rewards are limited in Free-to-Play mode.
2. Play-and-Earn mode: Users make predictions using Pookyballs allowing them to earn more points and enter higher reward Leaderboards.

Users score points based on the success of their predictions.

There are several types of points that can be awarded, which depend on the accuracy of the prediction and the Attributes of each Pookyball used to make the prediction.

• Base Points: calculated on pre-match odds only. Base Points do not take into account the Boost effect of Pookyballs. Base Points are used to rank users on Base Leaderboards.
• Boosted Points: the most important point scoring mechanism in Pooky. Boosted Points are calculated by the Attributes of Pookyballs. Boosted Points are used to rank users on Boosted Leaderboards.
• Experience Points (”PXP”s): calculated on Boosted Points and Pookyballs Rarity. PXPs are used to Level-Up Pookyballs. PXPs are awarded in relation to user's ranking on Boosted or Entry Leaderboards.
• $POK: crypto tokens awarded in relation to user’s ranking on Boosted and Base Leaderboards.

5. Scoring points

Users win Base Points for correct predictions on the following criteria:

• Predicting the exact score
• Predicting the outcome of the match: Home win, Draw or Away win
• Predicting a high or low scoring match: more or less than 2.5 goals

Users may improve their Base Points into Boosted points using the Pookyball Attributes:

• Fixed Attributes have a fixed percentage multiplier and apply to the overall match prediction (International Ball, Nation Team, Home Events, Club Team, Rarity, Season, Pressure).
• Variable Attributes have multipliers for specific parts of a prediction (Home, Draw, Away, Exact Score, Offensive, Defensive). Their value depends on Rarity, Level and player choices.

6. Rewards

For each sport league featured on the Pooky platform, at the end of each Matchday, three Leaderboards will be generated. Each of these leaderboards will distribute some or all of the below rewards:

• ERC-721 tokens, including Pookyballs
• $MATIC
• $POK
• Energy recharges
• Pressure recharges

Play and earn mode users are ranked on two Leaderboards.

• At the end of a Competition Matchday, rewards are released based on Leaderboards rankings. Every Football league and tournament has two Leaderboards for Pookyball owners (two for Serie A, two for the Premier League, etc.).
• Leaderboards are completed each matchweek: in a regular season in France, you will have 38 of each leaderboards corresponding to the 38 matchweeks.
• The Boosted Leaderboard: users are ranked based on the total amount of Boosted Points (Base Points boosted by Pookyball Attributes). This leaderboard distributes approximately 90% of the rewards offered through the Prediction Game.
• The Base Leaderboard: users are ranked based on the total amount of Base Points only (No Pookyball Attributes taken into account). This leaderboard rewards approximately 10% of the rewards offered through the Prediction Game.

Free-to-play mode users or Rooky users are ranked on the Rooky Leaderboards.

• We will set a fixed promotional amount of rewards for Rooky users.
• We can dynamically change the fixed amount of $POK rewards in the Rooky league to protect the health of the game.
• The Winner of the Rooky League wins a Pookyball and can access the Pooky Competition

Rewards can be claimed by the user exclusively inside of Pooky’s application, once said reward is made available.

We reserve the right to rebalance the reward allocation and value to protect the health of the bug.

When a user purchases or wins a Pookyball, such user becomes the definitive owner of the underlying NFT, in accordance with the Pooky Platform - Terms and Conditions. Except where otherwise explicitly stated to the contrary, a user has the right to freely dispose of his or her Pookyballs (via sale, loan, donation, transfer, etc.).

Despite the ownership rights described above, the designer of every Pookyball - Serial Cut brand owned by S.S.G. has a personal licence to reproduce any artwork forming part of the Pookyballs only as reasonably required for the purposes of promoting its involvement in the creation of the relevant Pookyballs on its website, social media, or any other online platform where it is reasonable to promote Serial Cut’s work.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

In case any legal action or proceeding arises under these Rules it shall be governed by the laws of Malta and brought exclusively in courts located in Malta.
